LION will offer revenue coaching to members at no cost through July

LION members consistently rank sustaining and growing revenue as the top challenge facing their news businesses. That’s why we’re excited to offer free 45-minute coaching sessions with David Yoder and Lizzy Hazeltine for LION members with questions about revenue generation.
Both coaches have extensive experience working in and with independent news publishers to develop strategies and systems for growing revenue, including through the LION-Meta Revenue Growth Fellowship. Each coach will be hosting sessions between May 18 and July 29. Coaching sessions are limited to one session per member.

David Yoder
David Yoder helps publications understand their unique value, connect with customers and create ad systems that maximize revenue. He’s worked in and across all departments in local news, from editorial to reader revenue to advertising. David is in his 9th year at Richland Source/Source Media in Ohio and is a proud advocate for the underdog and the underappreciated.

In her consulting, she applies hard-won lessons from B2B software startups, digital local media, early stage venture capital and product management to build her clients’ capacity to create and market valuable products that earn them the long-term support of their customers. Lizzy currently leads the North Carolina Local News Lab Fund, coaches teams in a range of programs and supports for- and nonprofit organizations in her hometown of Durham, NC.
