What is the NEA?

LION's News Entrepreneur Academy (NEA) is the complete archive of hundreds of self-guided resources, including courses, templates, playbooks, guides, and articles. These resources help newsrooms grow across the three pillars of LION's sustainability model: Operational Resilience, Financial Health, and Journalistic Impact. There are resources across all pillars and areas of focus, for newsrooms of all stages, as outlined in LION's newsroom maturity model.

These resources are intended to help newsrooms:

  • Achieve their personalized recommendations from LION's Sustainability Audit,
  • Solve specific, immediate needs,
  • Prepare to participate in LION programs, and
  • Find solidarity and connection with the LION community

Browse the table below to see resources that are included in the News Entrepreneur Academy.
