Canadian Independent News Publishers: Tell us how we can better support you
We want to hear from current and prospective LION members.
We are looking for feedback from Canadian independent news publishers on what direction LION should take in our research and support of Canadian newsrooms.
Whether you’re a current LION member or haven’t joined yet, please take 10 minutes to fill out this survey by Monday, July 10.
Si vous parlez français et que vous vous sentez plus à l’aise pour répondre au sondage en français, veuillez utiliser cette version.
LION currently has about two dozen members based in Canada and we’re exploring whether to formally scale up our work there to better serve the needs of those members and future members. Our research will help us better understand the Canadian news ecosystem before providing region specific benefits to our existing and potential members. Learn more about our research efforts.
The purpose of this survey is two-fold: We want to include more independent Canadian news publishers in our Project Oasis database, and we want to learn more about your needs as an independent news publisher. Survey participants will be entered into a drawing for $50 gift cards.
If you have any follow up questions or feedback, please email LION’s Membership Research Consultant Julie Sobowale at sobowaleconsulting@gmail.com or LION’s Deputy Director Anika Anand at anika@lionpublishers.com. We look forward to sharing what we’ve learned with you soon.
