This training will underscore why setting goals is critical to understanding the past, acting in the present and planning for the future. It will give news businesses practical strategies for setting and executing goals while articulating how to learn from success and failure.
After completing this course, you’ll understand why and how to set and track goals, identify strategies and frameworks for executing goals, and articulate how and why to learn from success (and failure).
About the Instructor
Lizzy Hazeltine helps teams solve real problems, grow revenue to sustain themselves, and deepen their service to their communities. In her consulting, she applies hard-won lessons from B2B software startups, digital local media, early stage venture capital, and product management to build her clients’ capacity to create and market valuable products that earn them the long-term support of their customers. Hazeltine currently leads the North Carolina Local News Lab Fund, coaches teams in a range of programs, and supports for and non profit organizations in her hometown of Durham, NC.
