From setting rates, to creating marketing materials, to hiring sales reps, to learning how to ask people for money, to identifying potential customers and keeping track of them, we'll talk about how to build local advertising sales from the ground up. This session is geared toward new publishers and idea-stage local news entrepreneurs, but veteran publishers are welcome, too.
